Surfing Waves

hey all,

im having a board shaped and wanna run it by you before is send it in.

im 5'8 and weigh 160 lbs. my current board is a 6'0 x 20 and i generally surf smallish 2-4ft waves.

Board im looking into shaping is 5'10 x 18 7/8 x 2 5/16 round squash. it's going to have a low entry rocker and a higher tail rocker.

the reason for my downsizing is that i want a more responsive board without sacrificing too much on wave count.

btw i've been surfing for about 3 years now.

6'0 x 20" is wide, like a fish, so the next step would be to get one 6'0 but like a shortboard. If you are going down in size go down in width but keep the length since you have only been surfing 3 years.
