Guys,

Do you use the rails to popup or flat hands for your short board ? Do you have enough width in your short board to get your hands flat as i seem to struggle, i'm ok with my minimal.

Just interested to find out, looking at vids on utube lots of guys use the rails.

cheers guys

Really? I'll have to look at more vids, I thought almost no one use the rails to pop up.

I use the rails to dig the tail in when I want to burn and turn, but right before I get up I put my hands back on the deck.

The problem with using the rails to pop up are that as you let go you don't do so perfectly at the same time, causing wobbles. Also, your hands can slip off and land your face on the deck.

Pop up with your hands on the deck, I do so even when ridding a skinny gun.
