I am stuck between a 5'9 Channel Islands Robber and a 5'8 Firewire Dominator. I really like both boards a lot, and i like the style of the robber with its twin fin and trailer set up. But, I also like the dominator and its quad/ thruster set up. I live in huntington beach, California, and i surf every day on my highschool surf team. What do you think?

I would have loved a school surf team when I was back in school (many years ago now). It was football or hockey in the winter and cricket or athletics in the summer.

We don't have a surf team, but we do have a surf club. I'm a school viceprincipal (used to be a math teacher) and we go surfing on a school bus once a month. Many of the kids I take are doing it for the same time, so the talent is not there for a team, but we sure have fun: http://vimeo.com/21529569

Anyway, long story short, any school can start a club, all you need is a sponsor teacher. The club can raise money to start a competitive team. By this time next year you could be participating in NSSA events if you raise the money for travel and fees.
