Hey I have a 6 foot surf board and I go down to Florida a lot to surf but I don't know if the waves are big enough. The beach I got to is Coco Beach. Its a nice beach. I surfed there before but I just want to make sure there waves a good enough. Oh and I surfed for about 5 years. Thanks for the help ride on! :D

When I visit Coco Beach, I usually surf close to the south side of the pier on a 9-foot longboard. There is a nice thick swell starting from about the pier's mid-point. It works best in a flooding tide after the low tide point has passed. Many guys surf shorter boards at Coco, but the swell I've described works best with a longboard.
