Help! Given Board, Unknown Amount of Damage

So I was given a board... and there seems to be a lot of damage. I don't really know though because I'm not an experienced surfer. I'd like to repair the board but I don't want to shell out an outrageous amount of money to fix a used board when I could just buy a new one. Here are some pics of the damage I've found...

Image
^ Creases on bottom of nose
Image
^ fiberglass worn spot on bottom, another like it on top
Image
^ I think an awful previous repair... looks really bad
Image
^ Fins Pushing Through Top? It's like that on both sides...
Image
^ discolored spots and discoloration running along stringer
Image
^ and finally a jacked up nose...

Again any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I would fix the nose and seal up any open dings, and make the board water tight and ride it. You could always go to your local surf shop and get a quote on having all the dings fixed. It may not cost as much as you think. Also different repair guys charge different prices, so you may want to get a couple quotes. If not just repair the board yourself and save some money. I have seen worse.

I have ridden much worse. Just either get it repaired or use it as practice for ding repair. There is nothing better than being able to do your own ding repairs, and nothing worse that screwing up a repair on a new board, making the thing ugly. Practice makes perfect!
