Surfing Waves

What do you guys think I should get... I'm 6'1 and 175-180pound

As of right now I think I'm going with the Walden CD4, I think the one at the surfshop is a quad and that pic looks like 5 different slots, but both of them are at the surfshop, the 6'4 walden is about $375 and the CD4 is about $450ish.

I vote the CD4.. but that's cause Im a regular shortboard over a fish kind of guy.

Nothing against the fishes.. Ive yet to actually own one.. so Im going to vote with the shape I have more confidence on.

Although they are the same length, the CD4 is not as wide and is thinner than the Fish. I guess your choice should be based upon how you want to surf... the Fish will be quick, skatey and fun to pump but won't really hit the lip whilst the CD4 will have more of a shortboard snappy feel. For me, I feel as though when I bought my 5'11 round nose fish quad it helped me improve more than any other board has.. so I'm going to have to vote for the Walden magic fish!! Surfing my fish really gave me an insight into planing and pumping my board. You can even change fin setups on the Fish, sick!

To tell you the truth, both boards look like they would be fun as hell to ride! I say buy both!!
