I have a hard time catching myself up to the curl again. i know that i have to kinda keep going up on the whitewash closer to the top, but sometimes you can't go any higher. any sugguestions?

You need to go down to develop speed then back up. I kook waves once in a while by trying to force myself throught the whitewash where a simple turn out and bottom turn would have gotten me around the spot.

in bigger waves drifting can help. Meaning you drift out wide and pull in sharply hopefully getting around the section. Anther thing to do is to keep an eye on the wave when it starts feathering you know its gonna section so pumping hard can sometimes get you past.
