Surfing Waves

I just got this board from Ebay last weekend for $400 AUS dollars with a bag, leg rope and tail pad. The dimensions are 6'0, 18 3/8, 2 3/16. I weigh 60 kg and am 172cm high. This is my first shortboard and I want to know if it was worth the money and if it is any good for me?

Without looking at you surf, and having a go on the board, it's hard to tell if it will be 'the' board for you.
