Surfing Waves

This is me surfing at heavens a few days before the recent swell peaked, I was catching insiders because it was so crowded. https://surfing-waves.com/video/98_m ... eavens.htm

Looked like a lot of fun. You got some pretty good rides.
My only recomendation would be to try and smooth out your pumping down the line. This will increase the amount of speed you are able to generate and get you up to speed quicker.

You will notice that most (about 80%) of the work is done with his legs.

That looks nice. Long frontside rides.
The only drawback is that the way looks pretty weak.
Its the kind of wave where a small wave groveller or modern fish would excel.

I dont feel comfortable giving my opinion on style because mine sucks horribly.
But you definetely need to learn how to gather speed or do as i do cheat and get yourself a piranha, flyer, etc. until you learn to gather speed on your own.

Hahahaha, I am aware that I was flingin my arms, don't worry this is not usually the case. That day was realllly mushy and that's what my body did to comphensate I guess. I wish my dad filmed the next day, I went 2 hours earlier and it was much bigger (overhead) and it was a lot more powerful because of the tide, and there was only one other guy. That day my pumps were so much better. Yeah I dropped in on that guys close out. I feel bad for you who think that's not crowded, that's seriously the most guys I've seen out there

Ps I've been surfing for around 4 months

I recomend that you stannd up much straighter and practise your big wave dismounts a bit more!
