seems like a pretty good deal. i recently got my first shortboard, and it had a lot of pressure dents like that, it gets annoying scraping all the wax off only to have melted gunk left in the dents.

Definitely annoying. Here what I do.

I use cheap plastic paint scrapers. For your first go use a 3-4" to get the big stuff. Then go at it with a narrower 1" to get the gunk out of the pressure dents. Works like a charm.
