What height board should i get?? I'm close to 6'0" and only 135lbs. I currently have a 6'2" board which is a rocket fish but meant for smaller waves. I need a board to take on the medium-large waves we get over here during the winter any tips? I founda 6'4" Erie surfboard but i have a feeling it is too long.

no bigger than 6'4 id say. 6'1 --18 x 2 3/8 would be good. narrow and a bit thicker so your board dont break
anything bigger maybe too big. i find bigger boards have a hard time on hollow waves

Ok so there is an another board i found its an al merrick flyer shortboard there is a 5'10" would this be a good board for my height/body weight and how are these kind of boards on bigger waves it says it is excellent on small and medium waves but i want a board that will be good for those nice larger cold front waves... there was also an A6 model which was 5'11" which is also a possibility

Dunno, I would say at 5'10 , unless its quite wide or thick, you'd be paddling your ass off on the small days, and probably still catch nothing.

Well, for comparison I'm 5'6" and 145 pounds and ride a 5'10"x18 1/2x2 1/4 Al merrick K-small. No problems at all catching waves.
I'd say below 6 feet should be fine.
