are you looking for a retro fish or a fish hybrid? i'm 5'9"ish, 140, and i have a retro quad 5'6" that's 2 3/4", or something close to that, thick..so i guess for you maybe a 5'10", 2 3/4"? i dunno. width does matter as well. talk to a shaper or a knowledgeable shop, they can at least help you out with dimensions, if not make you a board for exactly what you want

I have been talking to a local shop but I am trying not to be THAT GUY...
went to sb surfboards online they look pretty nice as well. Would 6'4'' 6'6" or 6'8" be better. I am not the most accomplished surfer. Want fish for the local conditions here in S.Carolina

Hey SAltH2O,
I sold a 6'0" quad-fin fish to a young dude (23) and he is 6'4" and 185 for use up here in Wilmington. He loves it. I trying to drop down from a log to a 6'4" fish and have a 6'0" quad retro that I still look like a flounder on and I am 6'2" and 175. I can let you know how the 6'4" feels if you like and if I can actually get up on it now that we have some swell up here this weekend.
