It's to my understanding that you have to 'ocean dive' these heavy breakers, rather than duck diving. Anyone have want to share their experience on this deadly reef of a spot? I plan on heading up their this winter.

Well, the problem with pipe is there are patches of razo- I mean reef. I heard people get caught in it since duckdiving is not feasible when the break just smashes them and their board onto it.

ya theres a few breaks down my end that at a negative tide its not phesable to duckdive as you will duck into reef. Very scary if caught inside with no where to go

sometimes when the tide is little low and the surf is big, you can't use the scuba dive or duck dive. you just gotta eat it and live with it :bang:
