Nah mate i wish i was, im just a surf obsessed student who spends all his money on surfboards and then eats cereal for 6 months straight. The older CI board i got second hand 2 years ago and just sold it tonight for 250 to cover some of the damage from the new purchase....Wooohooo!!. I only really surf the brown anderson single fin and blue beto thruster. The rusty has lost its pop and snap after a year which is why i went with an xtr cuz everyone tells me they last longer.

How is the Ksmall quad? I've been thinking about getting one and I was wondering how it is in mushy waves.

I've surfed this board in pretty small waves and it worked really well. The board catches waves like a dream and has alot of drive which combined with the wider tail have been buring through sections. One thing I'm still getting used to is the extra drive, which has changed my timing when driving off the bottom for a top turn. I tend to get stuck on the lip more beacuse of this...
This board is 2 inches shorter than my regular shortboard which has allowed me to surf tighter in small waves while the quad makes it looser. I bought this board for the smaller summer beachbreaks and so far its been working out great. I hope this helps you decide.
