Surfing Waves

I just picked up a second hand spider 6foot board, and it has one fin which seems to me like a longboard fin??

i was wonderin if any of you guys have seen or ridden a board like this.

It seemed to ride pretty well but i didnt get too long to try it out. Any advice/info would be good.

as in a single fin? sounds like you picked up a fun new board mate, my friend is borrowing a single fin and absoluely loves it. it is a very dfferent approach to surfing but i think its important to try whatever you can lay your hands on. check out a dvd called stylemasters for ome inspiration!

not that unusal i bought a second hand shortboard and the previouse owner was using teenie longboard sidebites as the two outer fins with g300 centre. Made one slippy ride.

yea a single fin, im enjoying it so far, i think it will loosen it up a bit, but for bigger days i will probably have to stick with the three fins i think.
