Surfing Waves

hey i was wondering how big of a shortboard i should get. im currently riding a 5'8 high performance board but its too big for me. i was thinking about a 5'5 anacapa. im5'3/5'4 about 110-115 so yeah any help would be apriciated.(ive been surfing for about 3 years but this is the first board im getting for myself rather than a handme down)

5' 5" will work, or a 5' 6", don't get to thick and wide, I am not exactly the best authority for things like this and I don't know enough, what type of waves are you surfing? what do you do on the waves, ect. The best thing is to go to your local shaper and ask him to go in the water with you a few times to see how you surf, then tell him every litle detail you can imagine, then ask him to shape som ething for you.
