im looking for a new board for 1' to 3' mush, what do you think? should i get one of those modern fishes or just a wider, thicker shortboard that i can use when it gets better? thanks :)

for mush i heard eggs are really good. like the walden compact disks. short and fat, and heavy so they catch the chop easy.

yeah, i was thinking about those too, they sound like alot of fun :) though i've been leaning a bit towards the "performance" end of the market, any other suggestions?

I like the Lost Mayhem's - the hybrid versions. They're pretty wide so picking up a wave is a bit easier. I have a swallowtail 6-8 that's somewhere between 22 and 23 wide and maybe 2 1/4 thick. Double concave, tri fin, with a decent rocker.

the round nosed fish style? yeah that's a sweet board too, how does it go?
