Mini-Simmons as my next board?

So I ended up buying a used mini-simmons by Addict surfboards. It's 5'10" and I wanted a lot of foam, but this is BIG. I guess I'll surf it and see how it goes. I often underestimate the size and overestimate my ability to ride it. So we'll have to see how I feel about this. Definitely think I could go smaller, but we'll see.

Do you consider the Almond Secret Menu 5'4" as a Mini Simons?

looks like one, the tail is a little wider usually but looks spot on
