Do you think i can ride this board?

ok.. im pretty new to surfing.. tried it a couple of times on my cuz's surfboard, and im good at bogey bording.. but.................
i recently bought a used board... it is 6'7'' ... im 120 pounds.. people told me to get something bigger.. at the least 6'10'' ... do 3 inches make that much of a difference?

I don't know how tall you are but I would think 6'7" was actually too long for a shortboard for you. Once you're in the realms of shortboards the length won't make a huge difference on how hard it is to ride. Ideally you'd have something with a more forgiving shape and more volume, like a mini mal.

But, you've got the board now, and all you can do is put in time and effort to learn on it. You do have the advantage of youth on your side which will make a big difference.

I would say that is a good size for you to start. You will manage it. As johny B said, you got it already and is a matter of try. You will get use to it and later you will be able to know if that is what you need.

A friend of mine had a similar board and build when he started, and he managed. I think you'll work it out.
