Has anyone tried these? They seem cool.. Just dont want to waste the $$$ if they sound like crap.

Cheers!

If you're bored enough to need music you're doing it wrong :D

I'm definitely not bored.. I do however have to listen to a bunch of kids talk about BS in the lineup... I'd rather tune them out and enjoy the peace.. I surf in a heavily populated surf environment. No where else to go.

I saw someone out in the line up about 3 weeks ago who was listening to music. We were paddling out at the same time, and he stopped half way to do something. It looked like he was putting in headphones, but I thought it was impossible. But then later he was playing the air drums while waiting for sets and listening to music.

I know music makes me skate better. Probably "enhance" surfing. However, I don't like skiing with music, probably because my sense of hearing is a huge role in me stabbing someone with my skis or not.

When you're going as fast as me, you gotta have all senses going 8)

LOL Tomcat... I agree there's a sense of trouble not being able to hear the grommets or fellow sliders.. Think I'm going to give them a shot. If you say you saw some kid playin airdrums in the line up he had to been enjoying something.

I guess it's to help pass the time during the long lulls. I'll be sure to post and give my report.

They look cool.
Although they say they have a water tight seal id still be a bit cautious on taking my ipod out with it.
Imagine getting wiped out, you would never see your ipod again.
I cant actually work out if that is a good idea or not. :?

Oh yeah, and out of curiousity, why did you put this in the shortboarder forum instead of the general?

No it's not bad, but you'd probably get more relplies in the Surf board.

Usually the only stuff posted in the Shortboarders/Longboarders boards are specifically shortboard/longboard questions, like fin selections for a shortboard or volan knee patches for a longboard.

But it's not a bad thing at all.
