Looking for advice!

Hey! I'm new to all this board stuff partly because i've never surfed before but i'm taking it up this summer I was just wundring if anyone had any tips n pointers on which board i should get (I'm 5'3) and what prices i should be paying (or even good places to get surfboards, bearing in mind i live in Scotland). Any advice is great!! Thanks!!

i heard prices are going down at the end of summer

they would..basic supply and demand. less posers going out and buying boards in the winter!
