I've been surfing since last summer and I have a 8ft funboard. I was wondering if a funboard is classified more of a shortboard or longboard?

I've been surfing since last summer and I have a 8ft funboard. I was wondering if a funboard is classified more of a shortboard or longboard?

Neither. Its a hybrid, breed of both. Paddles and catches waves like a longboard, turns like a shortboard. Obviously doesn't do either as good as the true LB or SB, but is a good mix.
