FireWire Greedy Beaver

I'm very interested in the FireWire Greedy Beaver but was curious on its performance. I'm looking at the 5'6 or 5'8. I live on the Texas coast so the waves are 2-4ft mushy and usually weak during the summer and little big and more powerful in the winter. I was looking at this board for the summer. The boards i ride now are about 5'3 or a couple inches taller with about 29L of volume. I was kind of leaning more towards the 5'8 Greedy Beaver that holds a little more volume for the weaker summer days but still undecided. Does anyone own one of these boards or know someone that does? Or if anyone has any information on this board please feel free to share.
