need help buying a new surf board

so i want to buy a new surf board this guy on craigs list is selling his CI Merrick Neckbeard 6'2" Surfboard for 425 and he says he took it out max 20 times is it worth getting? ill post the link so you can look at it http://losangeles.craigslist.org/lgb/sp ... 13255.html

I am not sure how much a new one costs but the design is for an advanced surfer and I am guessing if you were you wouldn't be asking here about it so I would say probably not worth it for you. I am also not sure if that looks like a board used 20 times.
So what is worse.... dying or regretting it for the rest of my life? Obviously I chose not regretting it.

It is merely just a guess at it. I mean how much would you guess it has been used? 20 times? I don't know but I would just guess more than that but really it depends on the surfers style of surfing as to how much abuse a board takes in 20 outings.
So what is worse.... dying or regretting it for the rest of my life? Obviously I chose not regretting it.

The main thing I wanted to say is it isn't a beginners board so while it sounds like a really great board it won't be for a beginner.
So what is worse.... dying or regretting it for the rest of my life? Obviously I chose not regretting it.
