Need advice on shortboard

Hello

In August im going to Peniche, Portugal where im going to surf for about 2 weeks.
I want to buy a secondhand surfboard instead of renting as the prices are bit exspensive.
Im very new to surfing and know very little about what boards would be good for me?
Mainly i need to know how tall and how heavy a surfboard i should be looking for.
I kinda want a maneuverable board, as it is the style i prefer when i snowboard.

I am 181 cm tall, weight about 77-78 kilos, decent physical shape.
