6'0 quiet flight stingfish. right size for me?

Postby oceanbreak » Mon Sep 23, 2013 6:41 pm

i picked up a 6'0 19 1/4, 2 1/4 quiet flight sting fish. I'm around 5'8 around 155ish. been surfing for 6 mnoths now pretty much daily, FL waves.

is this board good for me? big/small/right size?

I have a 6'10 shortboard and a 6'6 fun but i feel i can start challenging myself with something more performance oriented.. thoughts?

Might be a little thin if you are a beginner, but give it a whirl. It's the right size if you've been surfing 5 years or so

I took it out a couple times. Its been flat and choppy florida waves this week. I did however pedal well with it, caughht, popped up fine and rode a few waves just fine. even "beat" the white water rash which is always a good indicator to me that im paddeling well. does that mean its the right size for me? anything else i should i gauge it with?

Sounds like you did well. If it feels good it just is, what can I say. Enjoy the stoke!
