Had some good lefts right to the shore at Gerringong.
the pics don't do it justice tho...

Boneyards just wasn't quite catching the SE swell. But this is it anyway. I called in on the way back up to Wollongong.

Boneyards breaks onto a boulder reef. Its fairly secret, holds solid, and doesn't close out, can get a pretty awsome right hander in the right swell. (NE & E)
This shot gives an idea of the reef your surfing over

Lookin' good there :D

The day didnt start too well, with a torrential downpour that made me think I'd stay local, so maroubra again...

North end was death on a sh1tty stick...

The pic doesnt do justice to the messy size and power of the southerly swell.

The south end was a lot more under control...

It was still lumpy and disorganised though. And I went over the falls so many times today...

It felt odd early on before the sun came out - air temp about 17C, water temp 24C :?

Then the sun came out, and now Ive got a sunburnt face :bang:
