What do you guys think. I weigh around 145 and am 5'8''. I'm thinking about getting a 5'10'' , 18'', 2 1/16 short for high performance in smaller to mid size waves. Should I go a little thicker or you think 2 1/16 is fine? I currently ride a 6'1'' Cordell 18 1/2 2 1/4.

why don't you go 18 1/4", 2 1/8". the volume will also depend on how tapered or boxy the rails are and how wide the nose is. i can ride a 5'10" but i prefer 6'0" since it's a more versatile length. sometimes 5'10" is a little short to paddle into bigger waves. in fact, once the waves are 3 ft overhead to double overhead, i'll ride a 6'2" or 6'4".
