my first shortboard!

Postby surfernoob » Sat Nov 03, 2007 9:47 am

just wanted to share pics of my first shortboard as i'm totally stoked about it. been riding a 7'6 and will be taking this out in the morning to huntington and can't wait even if the transition may be difficult. it's a 6'3 x 19" x 2" 1/2. chose one with more volume as i figure i'll need it for my first shortboard. cant wait!

ha i noticed my guitar in the background but didn't think it would become topic of discussion, and def dont mind the thread being hijacked, guitars are fun too. that ones a mex standard that i found at a pawnshop for real cheap, came with cool seymour duncans so sounds pretty meaty. got another sunburst reissue thats got the real strat sound. thanks for the compliments, specially on the board. took it out today and rode my first waves on a shortboard, although not the most gracefully, but still pretty excitin stuff and i know i'll get it soon enough =)

If you want a guitar get a gibson, strats can play all types off music but they dont sound allmost nearly as good as a Gibson
