need a mimi-mal in NA!!

Ok, it has been SUPER hard for me to get a mini mal. I live in the part of the country that doesn't sell boards, I go surfing every year and want to get a board because Im sick of rental costs and stuff. I want to also get it now, instead of then when I go down myself, because I can practice pop ups and have it for motivation (Im cheesy, ok? lol)

ANYWAYS. I search and search, and even Ebay doesn't have Mini mals in North America for me to buy. And I can't get a clear quote on how much shipping is from UK or australia or another contenent. Plus, every time I inquire about someone board there, they say no thanks I d rather sell it to a local.

Anybody have any tips what I should do? Or, if anyone is in Cali and knows a phone number of a second hand board store that prob doesn't have a website (or if you know a website) so I could call and ask, could you help a girl out?

God knows how to ship a board between continents though!
A very random google search threw up the following numbers for shipping a board between the UK and the US -
$137 up to 10lb, and then $10.00 for each additional pound.

Not sure how much a pop-out weighs, but considerably more than 10lb I would think.

Thanks so much for the link! lol, that is a lot... Prob more from UK, so Ill stick maybe with that, plus look around some more. Thanks! Its going to cost $2-300 in shipping alone! Im going to keep looking for better deals until I have that kind of cash! lol
