I'm planning to sell my old shortboards and need to know about courier services in the U.K and any other tips for selling a board online. I don't think the internet was invented last time I sold a board!

Cheers, KS. I've used parcel2go a few times for other stuff which they lost on one occasion and then proved uncontactable when it came to insurance/refunds, hmmm.
Anyway for packing I was thinking a good few layers of bubble wrap, some foam or cardboard around the fins, inside a board bag? I'd just be worried about some plonker standing on it or something daft like that.
Any idea of a rough price to allow for too would be helpful, cheers

There's a specific price for surfboards on paisly's website i think. Check it out. Also cheap pipe insulation from b and q gaffa taped to the rails is a good bet.

Hi, take pictures and a video of the condition of the board(s) as you pack them. Good memories for you and irrefutable proof of condition prior to shipper handling - as you can never be too carefull pack them so they'll withstand a very very heavy chucking around

My Dad ships things daily with parcel2go. Fragile items like old valve radios. Things get broken on occasion, but they have always come good with the insurance.
Document the package pre and post wrap fully and you should be covered.
