Can anyone tell me what this board is worth?!?!

So here's the story. I cleaned out this rich ladies attic and she had this old surfboard in it that used to be her sons, and she just gave it to me. I'm actually trying to buy a snowboard since I live closer to the mountains, so I was thinking about selling the surfboard. I know nothing about surfing or surfboards so I need a little help. This board has 3 fins, probably about 6 to 7 feet (look at the pic) and says 17th street, rip curl, and Dave Endress Designs and Shapes on it. Any idea if this is worth anything?

Hey icanrunupwalls,

In that condition I don't think people will pay very much for this one, maybe €200.
Do you know how old the board is? It looks like it has an old leash and this is certainly not an very modern footpad.
First of all before selling I would clean the board, take of all the old wax with a wax comb (or use an ice scraper) then polish it with some care polish and you'll see that the board will shine and will look cleaner than it is now.

I hope this helps you

Dave Endress is like the Al Merrick of shaping on the east coast in the USA he shaped under Powerline I think but don't hold me to that. The board in that condition I would give you a maximum of 250-300 dollars but cleaned up and shining would probably bring around 500-600 dollars but this is a guesstimate especially since mainly east coast surfers know him. Sorry to bring up a dead post.
