This is a much loved van and has always been very reliable. It was converted into a camper shortly after I purchased it in 2005. It was originally a wheelchair conversion from Motability, and I bought it with the peace of mind that it had been regularly serviced as part of its leasing arrangements, and that it had been used as one person’s personal vehicle. This has never been a builders van and has not suffered the same level of wear and tear as many other vans out there. I think the photos speak for themselves- the condition of the van is very good.
I have a print out from Motability for all the van’s servicing prior to my purchase, and I’ve kept receipts for all of the parts which I used when I serviced the van myself- it has been serviced regularly at 10k mileage intervals and the receipts verify this. I have all of the MOT certificates for the period of my ownership, which verify the mileage.
Mechanically the van is very good, last year I changed the glow plugs and battery and it starts without fail every time. The Cambelt was changed when I bought the van at 55K miles. The van has never broken down on me and has recently been serviced in a commercial garage, who did not find any problems with it (other than a replacement auxiliary belt and bulb).
It has just been serviced and MOT’d (27 Feb 2009), and I’ve put a further 6 months Tax on it.
I am looking for £5750, but may consider reasonable offers, depending on the amount of interest in the van.
